Great choices in Fly Reels all at under $100
We have an extensive range of fly fishing reels from the very value oriented to the top of the range Hardy which is nearly $10,000 (we are not joking). So we know about fly fishing reels. The ones we have chosen here are excellent basic fly reels which will serve the value oriented fly fishing angler particularly well who is starting out trout fishing or other light tackle fly fishing. In addition they will serve as an excellent back-up or spare fly reel for that unfortunate occurrence on the river when another fly reel becomes necessary.
We have chosen representatives of the Greys [a Hardy Company] Ross, Okuma and Redington fly reels as good examples of basic fly fishing reels which are under $100.
The Greys fly fishing reel - G offers amazing value at the price. Owned by Hardy which makes some of the best fly reels for trout fishing in the world, the Grey's line of fly fishing reels is excellent value for any beginner. This fly reel has a great drag system and will withstand a lot of work admirably. A solid and dependable fly reel just made for the job for the beginner at fly fishing.
Grey's also offer the GLA fly reel which is a little more expensive but an equally excellent investment for those new to fly fishing who want a good reel or perhaps a second fly reel for those already experienced in trout fishing. The Greys Fly Fishing Reel - GLA is great value.
